Welcome! I am Barbara Romero, a mental health expert, who from her practice is dedicated to helping you reach your goals and rediscover your light. With a focus on your personal growth and the certainty that being better is possible; I am here to accompany you every step of the way, let’s work together to reach your potential!

My personal and professional journey as a human rights advocate, migrant, queer person and mother has made me experience loss, grief and difficult life transitions, but it has also led me to walk alongside people navigating grief, emotional recovery, self-discovery and resilience.

Barbara Romero’s Legacy Consulting is a justice-oriented, personal development-focused practice that combines healing, inclusion and transformation, both for individuals and for the systems in which they live and thrive.

At Legacy Consulting we believe that each and every one of us is the fruit of a legacy. Sometimes that legacy is made up of inherited pain, trauma, silences or disconnection. Other times, it is made up of resilience, wisdom, cultural memory or a deep desire to make things better. Or, it is a mix of several elements. But we also know that with every decision, and with every personal action, we are building our own legacy. Building Resilience in Moments of Hardship

Life changes — sometimes suddenly, sometimes quietly.

When we face loss, breakups, migration, or deep uncertainty, resilience is not about resisting — it’s about allowing ourselves to feel, to be present with care, and to find new ways to be with what hurts.

In these sessions, we work together to:

  • Support grieving processes (death, migration, separation, life transitions).
  • Create space for your emotions without judgment or rush.
  • Rebuild through self-care and meaning-making.
  • Reconnect with your inner strength amidst uncertainty.

This is a safe, respectful, and human space to navigate what you are living through.

Empowering Your Voice and Boundaries

Sometimes, through life, culture, or past experiences, our voice dims. You don’t have to hit rock bottom to seek support. Mental health is part of our everyday life, and it can be nurtured through presence, embodiment, and kind words.

This space is designed to help you reconnect with it: your feelings, your needs, your boundaries.

Especially supportive for those navigating:

  • Recovery from past emotional violence or abuse. Specially for women who have experienced gender-based violence.
  • Self-discovery journeys. Specially for LGBTQ+ people on journeys of self-affirmation or navigating difficult relationships.
  • Migrants, solo mothers, and people facing life transitions
  • Doubts or challenges in relationships
  • Mindfulness, self-care, and emotional regulation tools
  • A safe place to simply be, without pressure
  • Struggles with setting boundaries or prioritizing yourself


We work from a feminist, compassionate, and empowering perspective. Every process is unique. No imposed rhythm or external expectations — only presence and gentle guidance.

Finding ourselves through our senses. Group Workshops

In this gathering, I invite you to reconnect with your inner refuge: that space of calm, safety, and creativity that lives within you.

Through sensory and artistic activities like free watercolor painting, clay, natural scrub crafting, we will gently explore the here and now — without pressure or expectations we create spaces for mindfulness, sensory exploration, and reconnection with your inner self.

🌿 No artistic experience required. Just the willingness to gift yourself a meaningful moment.

These workshops are designed not only as creative moments but as intentional spaces to:

  • Slow down and be fully present
  • Reconnect with your senses
  • Explore emotions in a soft, playful way
  • Foster self-compassion and joy
  • Free expression time and the possibility to connect in a safe group setting.
